I have been involved with this League since 1993.It was initially the Sculthorpe Youth League that amalgamated with the Dereham Youth League to form the Sculthorpe and Dereham Youth League. This then amalgamated with the Nar Valley Youth League to form the current Mid Norfolk Youth League. I have held positions within these Leagues of Fixtures Secretary, Vice Chairman, League Secretary, Chairman and more recently Treasurer. I have managed successful teams in these Leagues as well as senior teams to bring young lads through into adult football. I have been Chairman of Great Massingham YFC, Gayton YFC and Gayton FC. I was a qualified Referee and refereed several cup finals for these leagues before I retired.

Im Philip Yates, and let me welcome you to the under 7s section. I am the age group secretary for the Under 7s who play in the Mid Norfolk Youth League on Saturdays in Mini-Soccer in 5v5 non competitive games, for children starting out in football in a safe and friendly environment.
I started my coaching journey some years ago, I am a Level 2 qualified coach, also hold both Youth Modules 1&2 and am a qualified referee. Hi my name is Stuart Chaplin, Age Group Secretary for the U9s in the Mid Norfolk Youth League. I joined the committee last year mainly to help new coaches on their journey in Football. Hi Im Kayleigh, and I am the Under12s League Secretary. This is my second year on the league and am keen to stay on for some time to help the league progress and modernise. I have also joined the Norfolk FA initiative We Only Do Positives this season. I qualified as a referee around the age of 14 and used to referee games for many clubs in the Mid Norfolk League.
My name is Robert Smith and welcome to the U11s. I am the age group secretary for this age group that play their football in the Mid Norfolk Youth League. The U11s are in their last year of development football before undertaking competitive football next season. I had the pleasure of acting as the age group secretary for this age group last season and I am very much looking forward to supporting this group into competitive football next season. This is my 2nd season as a committee member on the Mid Norfolk Youth League committee. I have a number of additional years supporting the league outside the committee as both an active coach and manager of two teams that play their football in this league. Yes, I must love football!
